Kenneth Cutshaw has excelled in a wide spectrum of work and leadership environments including C-level business management, law partnership, academics, entrepreneurial ventures, government management, political management and foreign policy.
Cutshaw was president of Quiznos from 2012 to September 2015 and continues as a consultant for Quiznos, a premium sandwich restaurant concept with a presence in over 40 countries with 1600 units globally. As president of Quiznos, he managed all business functions of the brand as chief executive outside of the USA. In addition, Cutshaw had global responsibility over legal and development there as chief development officer and chief legal officer. In less than 3 years, he expanded Quiznos into 11 new countries and increased the international store commitments by 3000 units representing a store commitment increase over 300%.
Recently, Cutshaw concluded the largest master franchisee transaction in franchising history with a commitment of 1500 units in China. Before Quiznos, he was executive vice president and chief legal officer of Cajun Operating Company d/b/a Church’s/ Texas Chicken restaurants where he led global expansion of the Church’s/ Texas Brands.
Cutshaw’s academic degrees include a Master of Laws in international studies from American University and he continues to serve on the Dean’s Advisory Council. He received both a law degree (JD) and bachelor of public administration from the University of Tennessee. His law degree (JD) is from The University of Tennessee and Bachelor in public administration is also from The University of Tennessee. Cutshaw graduated from a Global Leaders Management course at India Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) and Duke University.
